Background[]
Aurora is the younger sister of the well known Gryffindor, Oliver Wood. With an 8 year difference between the siblings, their time at Hogwarts never overlapped. Unlike her brother, Aurora was sorted into Ravenclaw, as at the time she began school, she was quite intelligent and had yearning for knowledge so typical of a Ravenclaw. Her love for learning became an asset to the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, as she also held a very high esteem for the sport, what with her brother as a reserve for Puddlemere United and her inate ability in the air. She made the Ravenclaw Quidditch team in her 3rd year and while they didn't win the house cup, they had a much better showing than in some previous years. With the change in power at Hogwarts, Aurora is nervous about beginning the new school year, especially as she has heard that a number of students in her dormitory will be attending Hogwarts due to parental fears. While her parents are worried, they also want to ensure she gets the education she deserves, but have mentioned to her that she need only say the word and they can have her home in a jiffy.
Personality[]
Always considered a kind, bright, enthusiastic girl, Aurora excelled in her placement in the Ravenclaw house. She has a go-get 'em personality and won't let anything get in the way of the things she wants. Having a competitive spirit, she has done very well for herself in the game of Quidditch as a chaser. Though she's only played for one year, she's already harboring the thoughts of following in her big brother's footsteps and going professional, though her main goal is to survive the second rising of the Dark Lord.
